Do not rinse..make sure mixture is mixed. . Once a week wash your dog in  solution .. Do not wipe dog dry. Simply allow the treatment to take effect... Do this for two weeks.                                                                              Also add one tablespoon of unpasturized apple cider vinegar to your pets meal to treat mange systoms.....                               Another way is to treat with pure aloe vera juice. 'twas the Night Before Christmas (dog version)

'twas the Night Before Christmas (dog version)

It was about time for Christmas, and all through the house

A creature was stirring, but it wasn't a mouse

I knew right away it was my wife's little pup,

She thought we were sleeping, and so she was up

The dog was a gift it was coercion, really,

A woman can pout, 'til a man gets downright silly.

And now the wife was snoozing she was really sacked out

She wouldn't have awoke from less than a shout.

Yes, her in her nightgown, I in my BVDs,

We had finally settled down to catch some Zs

When off in the kitchen there arose such a clatter,

I rolled from the bed to see what was the matter.

Away down the hall, my head in a muddle,

I reached the kitchen...and stepped in a puddle.

The glow from a nightlight illuminated the room,

So how come I stumbled over the broom?

I fell in a sprawl, my legs were not stable.

On the way down, my nose hit the table.

My head was a spinnin' and when I came to rest

Four miniature dog feet stood on my chest.

With a lick and a bark, she bounded away,

Into the living room, she ran to play.

More rapid than mouses, that rat terrier ran,

Me on the follow, rolled newspaper in hand.

"Stop, Skeeter! Stop, Dog! Stop, Pup!

Halt, Pooch! Halt, Girl! Oh, come'ere, you mutt!

"Get off the new couch! Now let go of that curtain!

Ohhh...If I ever catch you, you're gonna' be hurtin'"

As winds of a Texas tornado do fly,

She spun round the room, down low and up high.

Then up on the countertop, that puppy went

She stopped for a second. I thought she was spent.

I make a quick lunge, she ducked me and then

Yawned when I dove through the flour bin.

As I drew out my head and was turning around,

She made for the presents, in a single bound.

I was covered with flour, from my head to my toes,

My robe in tatters, and blood on my nose.

A bag full of toys, she grabbed with glee

I nabbed her, I thought, but instead got the tree.

The ornaments, they broke, as they began to fall

The lights, how they fizzled, and that is not all.

When I reached for the plug, to turn the bulbs out,

What flowed through my body, but electricity, so stout!

As smoke encircled my head like a wreath,

That dog held my big toe, tight in her teeth.

"Skeeter," I moaned, "I give up. Oh, Skeet, I give in."

So she bit my swollen nose, and nipped at my chin.

She spoke not a word, but went back to work,

Down came the stockings it took just a jerk.

Then up from the hall, came the sound of feet,

Momma, it seemed was awake from her sleep.

"Now you'll get it pup," I announced with glee.

Then Skeeter walked over and put her little head on my knee.

She looked up at my wife - so innocent - and at me, so, so sad.

And it didn't take long, to know I'd been had.

Then came the wife's voice, so strong and so clear,

"Bill, you leave that puppy alone! You hear!"

And I exclaimed to myself, as they walked out with a strut,

"Don't leave any gifts, Santa just PICK UP THE MUTT!"

Many Home Remedies are better then what you buy at the store

Many loving dog owners today have turned to natural home remedies for dogs as an alternative to using questionable and possibly dangerous commercial products.

Many of these natural home remedies for dogs are quite easy to obtain. For example, do you have garlic in your kitchen? Most people do and use it to cook up tasty dishes but never consider that it is an effective flea repellant.
What about mineral oil, olive oil or almond oil? These are also common household items that can be used for a variety of different purposes. Did you know that they are also effective for treating ear infections or ear mites in dogs?
Do you treat your own skin with Vitamin E? It's a common way to soothe irritated and dry skin. If your dog suffers from irritated skin as a result of allergies, try applying a bit to their skin to see rapid improvement

Be sure to take good care of your dogs in return they will bring you much joy and happiness and also be kind to strays on the street. Stop and give a little of your time by giving them somthing to eat. Carry a bag of dog food in yor car and when you see a hungry dog stop and give him a bite to eat and belive me you will feel better about yourself and tht dog will greatly appreciate your kindness. IF you can please give a donation here to help feed and shelter so many stray dogs we care for we can use your help is it to much to ask you to hellp make these abandoned dogs lives better. IF you love dogs and own a dog and hate animal cruelty then open your hearts and don't leave without giving a donation to help save a dogs life. We really need your help we ae running low on dog food and hope you will help us out and come to our rescue..Thank you Lilyruth

Poem for New Pet Owners

Don't smell crotches, don't eat plants, Don't steal food or underpants. Don't eat my socks; don't grab my hair,,, DON'T RIP THE STUFFING FROM THAT CHAIR!!

Don't eat those peas, don't touch that bush, Don't chew my shoes, what IS this mush!?! Eat your cookies, drink your drink, Outta the toilet! Outta the sink!

AWAY FROM THE LITER BOX, IT'S FOR THE CAT! (and must you kiss me after that!?!) Raising a puppy is not for the lazy, Those rugrats are funny, but also quite crazy.

Don't despair through the toil and the strife. "Cause after three years you'll get back your life! So lets go for walkies, so you can do your "thing" And maybe I'll get back my diamond ring!

How to Stimulate a well-trained Dog

Your adult dog needs the right amount of balance in his training. These needs include a regular dose of physical exercise, mental exercise, and the need to socialize. Providing your dog with these needs will keep him happy, healthy, and may even add extra years to his life.

Mental Needs Of Your Adult Dog

The more you teach your dog, regardless of his age, breed, and personality, the better he will become at all levels of his life. Training your dog to perform certain tasks gives him purpose, which in turn greatly improves the quality of his life. Once your dog learns certain skills, he is no longer just your pet. He becomes more of a friend, a companion, a helper, someone to enjoy more wonderful times with.

Providing your dog with knowledge gives him freedom to do more things. Having the skills to listen, to respond properly to your commands, and the ability to be trained gives him the advantage to explore more and learn more. Instead of staying inside the home all day by himself, you can take him to different places and share more activities with you.

Teach your pal something new each week. This will keep him confident and keep his mind stimulated and alert. Being able to think clearly in his adult life will benefit him when he reaches old age.

If your dog's intelligence is above average or if is an energetic working breed, you will have to train him more, even in his adult years. Highly intelligent dogs need to have a job to do to keep them entertained, prevent them from becoming bored, and also prevent them from developing destructive behaviors.

Extra training and mental activity is required if you have a working breed. Working breeds need to be worked more to keep them busy and problem-free. A few examples of working breeds are Border Collies, Great Danes, Australian Cattle Dogs, German Shepherds, Australian Shepherds, Rottweilers, and Old English Sheepdogs. These dogs need to think more and do more to stay happy.

Giving your adult dog his regular mental exercise will keep his mind clear, keep him occupied, and prevent boredom. Boredom leads to dissatisfaction, which in turn leads to negative behavior. Regardless of the amount of training and skills he acquired during puppyhood and his adolescent stage, he is likely to develop destructive behaviors again unless you give him a job to do.

The old adage "use it or lose it" not only applies to humans, but to our canine friends as well. Your dog needs to brush up on his skills and talents on a regular basis, otherwise he will forget them. It is that simple!

Dog Home Remedies- How to kill Fleas with Dawn or Salt or Lysol

Dawn. To kill fleas in carpeting, pour one tablespoon Dawn Dishwashing Liquid into a sixteen-ounce trigger-spray bottle. Fill the rest of the bottle with water, shake well, and spray the carpet, upholstery and the floors. The soap dries up the insects, killing them almost instntly. After fifteen minutes, wipe the floors with a damp towel and vacum the carpet. Lysol. Spray the carpet and upholstery with Lysol disinfectant spray. The antiseptic kills fleas. Repeat the following day to kill any newly hatched fleas………………………………………………….. Morton Salt. Sprinkle Morton Salt on carpets, let sit for at least three hours and vacum throughly. Strange facts: An adult female flea can lay one egg every hour during its 3-month life span. The common flea measures one-eighth inch in lenght and can jump up to thirteen inches. Proportionally, that’s the equivalent of a human jumping seven hundred feet.

Home Remedy Cure for the Manage for your Dog

Published by lilyruth under Dog tips, first aide for dogs, dog grooming, dog training, home remedies, fleas, dogs,
The best cure for dog mange is to mix a 1% hydrogen peroxide solution with water and add borax.Dissolve thoroughly. Wash the dog with it once a week. Do Not Wash the solution left on the dog with ANY WATER. Do not wipe the dog dry. The solution will take effect on mange. The treatment period should not be longer than a month or two. The dog will probably not be resistant as the treatment is painless. This has worked well on dogs I have tried it on. A definitive recipe is add 1-2 tablespoon of borax per 500 cc of 1% hydrogen peroxide solution. plus two parts of water. Then apply them on the dog. Wash with this solution daily, no rinsing. If it doesn’t go away, I have found mites, or mange to have a large beehive hidden somewhere. In case, quarantine the dog in a small area that is sterile. The borax will destroy the eggs from laying under the skin which causes the mange. Get some solution and spray or use this to wipe all floors so the dog will not get re infected. Repeat this every week when bathing. The solution should be applied after you shampoo and rinse your dog. . You cannot rinse the dog of borax and peroxide solution with any shampoo or water. After bathing the dog, keep the dog that way no drying no rinsing. Keep in mind Borax is added directly to the1% hydrogen peroxide solution and no water is added separately, otherwise the solution is too weak. If the mange returns then see your Vet.  Please be sure to give a small donation to help buy food and give shelter to these stray dogs who have no home and I have taken in and care for them to give them a better life then they had before. I need help so please its Christmas time, time to share your blessings and give to those who cannot help themselves are speak up for themselves. I beg of you all to please give something to mke their Christmas a Happy one even if its just this specil time of the year. All you do is click on the DONATE button here on this site and thats it. Please open your hearts if you hate animal cruelty and love dogs and animals help me to help them. Its hard to do it alone and Im ill and am having personal problems of my own but I still do not give up hope that some of you out there will hear my cry for help!!! God Bless you all and please also remember me in your prayers that this pain in my back will go away at least for a few days if not forever. Keep the faith for it is all we have...The end of days is coming nd keep in mind that you cannot take anything with you not your money nor your home nor any of your possessions all you take is the dirt your buried with if your lucky to even take that. So give and let your name stand out in The Good Book at judgement day. Something as small as donationg some money to feed and give shelter to save dogs may seem unimportant now but believe me it will place a big shining star beside your name in the good book. Think about this and don't put it off and wait till tomorrow for you don't know if you may wake up or not tomorrow. Do this now and feel good about yourself now. Be ready I know Iam.. I have very little but thanks to God I share the little I have and I even accept the trial and pain he sets before me for whatever reason he may have at times I wish to question him and ask WHY? but then I think about it asnd it is not for me to ask but to trust and accept .  I know tho at the end my reward will be waiting for me. Happy and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all  a Good night...
